Text Fraud Alerts
Keeping your account safe and secure is our highest priority. We’ve added Text Fraud Alerts as part of our debit card protection program.
As part of our debit card protection program, we provide text alerts noted as "1st Bank Yuma FraudAlert" when suspicious activity is detected on your 1st Bank Yuma debit card. If you receive a “1st Bank Yuma FraudAlert,” reply Yes or No to confirm or deny the activity. If you reply No (the activity is fraudulent), you’ll quickly receive a follow up text to let you know that a SHAZAM fraud specialist will call you soon to help protect your account. We’ll also automatically block your debit card to prevent any additional fraudulent activity.
If you reply Yes (the activity was legitimate), you can continue to use your debit card as normal. If you don’t reply to the text, or your phone number is not a mobile number, we’ll attempt to reach you via automated voice call.

Make sure to save these numbers to your contacts so you don’t miss any alerts. This added protection to your debit card is automatic and text message alerts are free.
To ensure you are receiving these Text Fraud Alerts, confirm your contact information is updated with us.
Important: We will never request card or account information via text, phone or email. SHAZAM is our debit card processor.

You can access SHAZAM Brella for free from your laptop, PC or mobile device at https://bolts.shazam.net or by downloading the SHAZAM® Brella app today for the safety, speed and convenience of mobile.
You will create a unique username and password when signing up to use SHAZAM Brella. The application doesn't store your password, Social Security number (SSN) or account information on the device. SHAZAM encrypts the messages sent and received by the application.
These are alerts you establish to monitor your card activity. Contact SHAZAM’s toll-free at 1-866-508-2693 if you receive an alert for a transaction you didn't authorize.
The alert types include:
- Transaction amount alert
- Internet or phone transaction alert
- International transaction alert
- Suspicious transaction alert
- Suspicious Transaction Alert
If you receive a suspicious transaction alert, call SHAZAM toll-free at 1-866-508-2693 to review the suspicious activity with a fraud specialist.
In addition, you will be enrolled in Brella Transaction control, which allows you to block future transactions based on the same criteria as the following alert types: transaction amount, internet/phone and international.
Temporary Card Block
Additionally, you can temporarily block all future transactions on a card. You can also remove a temporary card block you placed. While a card is blocked, certain SHAZAM Brella functionality may be unavailable.
Possible statuses for a card include:
- Not blocked
- Blocked by you
- Blocked by your financial institution
- Blocked by you and your financial institution
